The fellowship offers multiple years of support to students who demonstrate great potential to make contributions to their field of study. Graduate students who are US citizens or permanent residents are typically eligible to apply in their first or second year of graduate study.

The Early Graduate Study Fellowship Mentoring Program support early career doctoral students while they develop a fellowship application during the summer months. As a part of your application to the program, you should identify the fellowship application that you would like to develop. We will begin and end the program with workshops. The first workshop will be held online and the second one will be on campus before the start of the fall semester. The first workshop on June 11, 2018 is designed for you to meet the mentoring program participants on our virtual platform and will include activities to help you get started with the program. The second workshop on August 31, 2018 will focus on presenting your work and receiving peer review.
