National Academy of Education/Spencer Postdoctoral Fellowship

Fellows receive $70,000 for one academic year of research, or $35,000 for each of two contiguous years working half-time, and are included in professional development retreats with other fellows and NAEd members.

Miller Research Fellowships

The Miller Institute seeks to discover and encourage individuals of outstanding talent, and to provide them with the opportunity to pursue their research on the Berkeley campus. Each Miller Fellow is nominated and sponsored by a department of the Berkeley campus.

Department of Terrestrial Magnetism: Postdoctoral Fellowships

The Department of Earth and Planetary Science offers a variety of postdoctoral fellowship and associate positions. Fellows and associates can engage in a wide range of experiences that are shaped to preserve maximum flexibility and to fit the scientific interests of both Staff Members and Fellows.

NYU Postdoctoral and Transition Program for Academic Diversity (PTP-AD)

Fellowship program supports under-represented groups who will contribute to academic excellence at NYU. Appointments are for two years. Fellows teach a maximum of one course per semester, participate in school and departmental activities, and receive mentoring support.

Glassman Holland Research Fellowship

Open to all European post-doctoral researchers who are permanently resident in Europe. Fellowships are open to students and scholars in Near Eastern studies from prehistory through the early Islamic period.

Grants and Fellowships in Cancer Prevention

The goal of this program is to provide funding for innovative projects expected to lead to future funding from other peer-reviewed sources. Awards are limited to postdoctoral level applicants only. Applicants must have their degree in hand at the start of the project.

Postdoctoral Fellowship Program in Paris

The three-year postdoctoral fellowship program allows American citizens to work in a host laboratory at the Institut Pasteur in Paris, France to study the basic science of improving global public health. Applicants should first identify a host lab from the 130 listed on the Institut Pasteur website.

Research Associateship Programs-Postdoctoral and Senior Awards

The Resident Research Associateship Programs provide postdoctoral and senior scientists and engineers with opportunities to conduct research on projects, largely of their own choice, which are compatible with the research interests of the sponsoring laboratories, thereby contributing to the overall research efforts of the federal government. One to Three Month Fellowship

The Ransom Center will award more than 50 fellowships for projects that require substantial on-site use of its collections. The fellowships support research in all areas of the humanities, including literature, photography, film, art, the performing arts, music, and cultural history.

Lederman Fellowships

Appointments are awarded on a competitive basis from among the applicants for first postdoctoral appointments in experimental physics at Fermilab. The term is for three years.
