Colgate-Palmolive Post-Doctoral Award in In Vitro Toxicology

The Colgate-Palmolive Postdoctoral Fellowship Award through SOT is given to advance the development of alternatives to animal testing in toxicological research. The award (up to $44,000) is given annually and preference given to applicants in their first year of postdoctoral study.

John J. and Anna H. Gallagher Fellowship for the Study of the Rarer Microscopic, Multicellular Invertebrate Animals

This postdoctoral fellowship provides a 36,000 stipend to scholars studying the systematic of microscopic invertebrates. The research focus must be on systematics and may employ ecological, behavioral, physiological, or developmental tools. Note that the competition is anticipated to run in 2015.

National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship for Research in Turkey

The NEH fellowships support projects in the humanities and humanistically oriented aspects of the social sciences, prehistory, history, art, archaeology, literature, and linguistics, as well as interdisciplinary aspects of cultural history. Stipends up to $50,400 support 4-12 month projects.

Ernest S. Frerichs Annual Professorship

Recipient is expected to assist in planning and implementing the Ernest S. Frerichs Program for Albright Fellows, which requires a working knowledge of living and traveling in Israel.

Daland Fellowships in Clinical Investigation

The American Philosophical Society awards a limited number of Daland Fellowships in Clinical Investigation for research in the several branches of clinical medicine, including internal medicine, neurology, pediatrics, psychiatry, and surgery. The committee emphasizes patient-oriented research.

Irvington Postdoctoral Fellowships

Postdoctoral fellowships provide support to fund and train young immunologists and cancer immunologists at top universities and research centers around the world. Proposed studies must directly impact our understanding of the immune system’s role in cancer risk and tumor initiation.
