PEO provides educational awards for women of the United States and Canada who are either pursuing a graduate degree or are engaged in advanced study or graduate research at an accredited university or college.

Luce/ACLS Dissertation Fellowships in American Art

This fellowship supports dissertation writing and completion for those whose research topic focuses on the history of the visual arts of the United States.

Diversity Predoctoral Fellowship

The fellowships are intended to support scholars from a wide range of backgrounds, who can contribute to the diversity of SHASS and the higher education community. These Fellowships support graduate scholars for a 9-month appointment at MIT that generally runs from September through May.

The purpose of the fellowship is to assist emerging scholars who are studying issues of access, affordability, or value in legal and higher education.

Predoctoral Fellowship

Weiner Fellowship

The Florida Atlantic University Libraries and the Huntington Library are jointly offering three short-term research fellowships for advanced graduate students. Fellows will spend one month in residency at FAU and another month in residency at the Huntington Library.

Rosenberry Graduate Fellowship

Provides a $15,000 stipend to support the doctoral research of a graduate student attending a university in North America and whose research contributes to forest and conservation history. Research focus on the historic relationships between humans, forests, and related resources is required.

Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Predoctoral Fellowship in History Education

The fellowship supports in-residency training at the City Museum of New York for two days per week. Fellows will fully integrate into the life of the museum while receiving training in the fields of public history and museum education.

Research Assistantship Program

The NIJ Research Assistantship Program (RAP) offers highly qualified doctoral students the opportunity to bring their expertise to NIJ to work across offices and program areas to obtain a practical and applied research experience.
