Fellowship Program
ARCE administers short term fellowships for study in Egypt (up to 12 months) for pre-doctoral and post-doctoral students. Amounts and time frames vary by fellowship.
Richard M. Weaver Fellowship
The ISI Richard M. Weaver Fellowship awards a number of fellowships ranging from $5,000 to $15,000 to students interested in teaching at the college level.
Harriet Hale Woolley Scholarship
For the study of visual arts or music in Paris. Candidate must be single and between 21 and 29 years old.
Clara Mayo Grants
This $1,000 award aims to support masters’ theses or pre-dissertation research on aspects of sexism, racism, or prejudice, with preference given to students enrolled in a terminal master’s program.
Abel Wolman Fellowship
This fellowship is designed to support promising doctoral students in the US, Canada and Mexico pursuing advanced training and research in the field of water supply and treatment.
Larson Aquatic Research Support (LARS)
This scholarship provides support for doctoral and Masters students interested in careers in the fields of corrosion control, treatment and distribution of domestic and industrial water supplies, aquatic chemistry, or environmental chemistry. MSc students receive $5000, PhD students receive $7000.
Thomas R. Camp Scholarship
This fund provides support to outstanding students doing applied research in the drinking water field. It is offered to doctoral students in even years and Masters students in odd years.
Holly Cornell Scholarship
This scholarship encourages and supports outstanding female and/or minority Masters students in pursuit of advanced training in the field of water supply and treatment.
Academic Achievement Award
This award encourages academic excellence by recognizing contributions to the field of public water supply. All Masters theses and doctoral dissertations that are relevant to the water supply industry are eligible. First place is for $3000 and second is $1500.
