Short-term Research Grants for US Citizens

AIMS awards short-term grants for one to three months. These awards may also be used in combination with grants from other sources for projects of longer duration. Applicants must be members of AIMS at the time of application.

Long-Term Research Grants for US Citizens

The program offers grants to US scholars interested in conducting research on North Africa in any Maghrib country, specifically Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, or Tunisia.

Harriet Hale Woolley Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded annually to support the study of visual, fine arts and music in Paris at the Fondation Des Etats-Unis while enrolled in a recognized French school or music conservatory. Energy Fellowship Program

In an effort to foster education and innovation in the area of societal production and utilization of energy, the Link Foundation invites applications for Fellowship in the Energy Field. This is a 2-year fellowship.

Kleinhans Fellowship for Research in Non-Timber Forest Products

Ecologically-sound uses for Latin American tropical forests to prevent their destruction, Emphasis: forest products for local use or export; the Fellowship is for the development of a product or marketing technique that provides local income without destroying forest ecosystem integrity. 2-year funding at $15000/year. Proposal no more than 5 pages.

Public Health Informatics Fellowship Program

The Public Health Informatics Fellowship Program (PHIFP) is a 2-year applied training fellowship for professionals with a master’s or higher degree. Professionals are trained to apply principles of public health informatics to the practice of public health.

Biodiversity and Conservation Biology Research Grants

Field studies and other projects that demonstrate a multi-disciplinary approach to biodiversity and ecosystem conservation and projects that involve in-country collaborators receive the highest funding priority. DEED Research Student Grants/Internships

Each year up to ten $4,000 student research grants and internships are awarded to students conducting research on an energy-related project. Students must be sponsored by a DEED member utility and are required to write an abstract and final report at the completion of the project.

NACADA Scholarships

To be eligible for a scholarship, nominees must be a current member of NACADA and have been a member for two years, be currently enrolled in either a masters or doctoral program and must have worked as an academic advisor for two years with a minimum of a half-time appointment. Lesbian Health Fund Grants

The Lesbian Health Fund (LHF), a program of GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBT Equality, funds research of relevance for improving the health of lesbians, other sexual minority women, and their families. Topics include sexual and reproductive health, eliminating inequalities in health care.
