ASSE Scholarship Programs

There are various scholarship opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students on safety issues. Some of the scholarships are for minority students. ***Visit website for updated information about each of them, application procedure and application deadlines.***

Scholarship

This award provides $1,00 dollars to students of Asian or Pacific background enrolled in a master’s or doctoral degree program in library or information science accredited by the ALA.

Scholarships

Each year, the Air & Waste Management Association recognizes outstanding students pursuing courses of study and research in air quality, waste management, environmental management/policy/law, and sustainability. This includes student scholarships, dissertation awards, and awards.

Don Schon Award for Excellence in Learning from Practice

The award recognizes a paper written for a graduate course in planning, a master’s thesis, or a research report which shows excellence in the writer’s personal and/or professional learning from practice and in the analysis of that learning.

Sara Jackson Award

Trennert-Iverson Graduate Student Conference Scholarship

Two $500 annual awards will be given to graduate students, M.A. or Ph.D., to help lessen the burden of costs to attend the annual Western History Association conference. The cost of conference registration and tickets to the welcome reception are also included.

The scholarship will cover the fees of the CHES examination. Adele Filene Travel Award

To assist the travel of a CSA Student Member to that year’s CSA national symposium to present either a juried paper or poster. Candidates must be members of the Costume Society of America, registered students, and have a paper accepted by the jury.
