The fellowship program supports graduate students, faculty, public school teachers, and/or performers in 1-3 month residencies for the purpose of conducting research in Berea’s non-commercial audio collections that document Appalachian history and culture, especially the areas of traditional music, religious expression, spoken lore, and radio programs.
