Mark B. Bain Graduate Fellowships

These research fellowships support graduate students conducting research on the Hudson River system. This fellowship provides a stipend of $15,000 for PhD students and $11,000 for MS students, and money for research.

Tibor T. Polgar Fellowships

This program provides a summertime grant ($3,800 for each fellowship) and limited research funds for students to conduct research on the Hudson River. Polgar Fellowships may be awarded for studies anywhere within the tidal Hudson estuary from the Federal Dam at Troy, New York, to New York Harbor.

Hudson River Fund Research Grant

The Hudson River Fund supports research on all aspects of the Hudson River ecosystem, with an emphasis on studies relating to human uses of the system. Consult the funder for the annual special emphasis of the program.
