Cornell Society for the Humanities–Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship

Postdoctoral teaching-research fellowships in the humanities, each awarded for the one-year period, offer stipends of $45,000. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Humanities

This $61,060 fellowship is open to those who have completed their PhDs in history, English, history of art, musicology, classics, anthropology, German and romance languages and literatures, philosophy, comparative literature, history of science and technology, and Near Eastern studies.

Postdoctoral Fellowship in African American and Urban Studies

The Center for Africanamerican Urban Studies & and the Economy (CAUSE) at Carnegie Mellon sponsors an annual Post-Doctoral Fellowship designed to facilitate and sustain a vigorous program of graduate and post-graduate student training, research, and writing on the African American urban experience.

Research Support Grants

John B. Hurford Humanities Center: Mellon Post-doctoral Fellowship

A two-year Mellon Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the Humanities for scholars interested in material and visual culture. Area of specialization is open, but might include performance studies, psychology, cultural history, anthropology, literary, sociology, religious and/or cultural studies.
