Graduate student research grants support students (both master’s and doctoral levels) conducting fieldwork, herbarium travel, and/or laboratory research in any area of plant systematics. Every year we present 10-15 of these awards to promising young scientists.

George R. Cooley Award
Each year the American Society of Plant Taxonomists recognizes an outstanding paper presentation by awarding the George R. Cooley Award to the presenter of a paper judged to be the best among those eligible.
