Short-term Research Grants for US Citizens

AIMS awards short-term grants for one to three months. These awards may also be used in combination with grants from other sources for projects of longer duration. Applicants must be members of AIMS at the time of application.

Long-Term Research Grants for US Citizens

The program offers grants to US scholars interested in conducting research on North Africa in any Maghrib country, specifically Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, or Tunisia.

Research Grants for North African Scholars

Open to Maghribi citizens who are conducting research for a doctoral dissertation or are post-doctoral or senior scholars. The CEMAT/TALM Research Fellowships for Maghribi Scholars are open to citizens of Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, and Tunisia.
