Tibor T. Polgar Fellowships
This program provides a summertime grant ($3,800 for each fellowship) and limited research funds for students to conduct research on the Hudson River. Polgar Fellowships may be awarded for studies anywhere within the tidal Hudson estuary from the Federal Dam at Troy, New York, to New York Harbor.
Semple Award of the Classical Association of the Middle West and South
Members of CAMWS who are either elementary/secondary school Greek or Latin teachers in the CAMWS territory or graduate students in a degree-granting program in Classics in the CAMWS territory are eligible to apply for this $4,000 fellowship to attend the summer session.
The Naval Research Enterprise Intern Program (NREIP)
This internship provides students with an opportunity to participate in research at a Department of Navy (DoN) laboratory during the summer. Participating students typically spend ten weeks doing research at approximately 12 DoN laboratories and graduate students receive a stipend of $10,800.

New York Classical Club Rome/Athens Summer Scholarships
NY Classical Club members can win scholarships toward the cost of study in the summer session of the American Academy in Rome or the American School of Classical Studies at Athens. Preference will be given to secondary school teachers and graduate students.
E. Adelaide Hahn Scholarship of the Classical Association of the Atlantic States
An award toward the cost of study for the ASCSA Summer Sessions. Applicants must be current CAAS members. Preference will be given to pre-college teachers, graduate students, and those who have not previously received the award.
Methodological Studies Award
Two awards will be given to fund graduate students who wish to attend CRF’s summer Methodology Workshops at UMass Amherst. For non-UMass students, an additional award amount of up to $500 will be given in order to support travel to the campus and lodging to attend the week-long workshop.
RISE professional – Research Internships in Science & Engineering
This program offers summer research internships in Germany to masters and doctoral students from North America at companies and non-university research institutions with strong relations to industry. Students in biology, chemistry, engineering, geology and physics are invited to apply.
