Anita Cecil O’Donovan Fellowship

This fellowship offers $2,000 to a graduate student of any nationality, enrolled in a graduate program in any nation, to pursue research on a project relevant to the archaeology and/or culture of Cyprus. Funds must be used for a period of research time in residence at CAARI.

Harold T. Pinkett Minority Student Award

This award pays for graduate students of diverse backgrounds to travel to the Society of American Archivists conference. Each recipient receives full complimentary registration and related expenses for hotel and travel to attend the SAA Annual Meeting during the year the fellowship is received.

Student Research Grants

Small grant for graduate students doing field research in clay science and technology . Reimbursement for expenses incurred while doing field work, purchasing supplies, or presenting a paper at the CMS conference on the thesis research is allowed.

Anne S. Chatham Fellowship in Medicinal Botany

This fellowship supports research related to medicinal plants. Eligible candidates include students in any field of specialty who are currently enrolled in PhD programs at recognized universities and recent graduates who have received their degrees in the last five years.

Robert L. Dixon International Travel Award

For participation in the International Congress in Toxicology. This travel award is offered every three years and student must be SOT member.

Master’s Thesis Fellowships

Full support of a single $500 award is available for a one-week fellowship period to encourage use of our research collections by M.A. students developing and researching thesis topics. Partial support is available for students residing in Kentucky who travel from beyond the greater Louisville area.

Kenneth E. Grant Research Scholarship

The Kenneth E. Grant Scholarship provides financial aid to members of the Soil and Water Conservation Society for research on a specific urban conservation topic that will foster the science and the art of soil, water, and related natural resource management to achieve sustainability.

Thomson ISI Doctoral Dissertation Proposal Scholarship

This award fosters research in information science by encouraging and assisting doctoral students in the field with their dissertation research and provide travel to the annual conference. Because of the limits proposed by timing considerations, awards may be made for research underway.

Marjorie Roy Rothermel Scholarship

Scholarship was established to assist a student working toward a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. Selection for the scholarship is based on academic performance, character, need, and ASME participation.

Elisabeth M. and Winchell M. Parsons Scholarship

The Elisabeth M. and Winchell M. Parsons Scholarship was established for a student working toward a doctoral degree in mechanical engineering. Selection for the scholarship is based on academic performance, character, need, and ASME participation.
