BSA Short-term Fellowships

These fellowships support bibliographical inquiry as well as research in the history of the book trades and in publishing history. Eligible topics may concentrate on books and documents in any field, but should focus on the book or manuscript (the physical object) as historical evidence.

APA Student Travel Award

Students will receive $300 to support their travel to the APA Convention. Applicants who are both members of the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS) and first authors are eligible to have their convention registration fees waived.

Grants in Aid for Students

Division 41 Grants-in-Aid Committee is accepting proposals for small stipends (up to $750) to support psycholegal research conducted by graduate student affiliates of the American Psychology-Law Society.

Hyde Graduate Student Research Grants

These $500 grants support feminist research conducted by doctoral psychology students. Because the purpose of this award is to facilitate research that otherwise might not be possible, projects that are beyond the data analysis stage are not eligible.

Small Grants for Doctoral Research in Second or Foreign Language Assessment

These small grants help promising doctoral students working in the area of foreign or second language assessment to finish their dissertations in a timely manner. Up to $2,000 is offered to doctoral candidates with approved dissertation proposals.

Richard M. Weaver Fellowship

The ISI Richard M. Weaver Fellowship awards a number of fellowships ranging from $5,000 to $15,000 to students interested in teaching at the college level.

Henry Salvatori Fellowship

The ISI Salvatori Fellowship provides $10,000 to each awardee for graduate work related to the American Founding. Two of these graduate fellowships are awarded annually. Graduate Fellowships

Scholarship: The Foundation offers Delta Gamma graduate students $2500 fellowships annually for graduate study in any chosen field. Applicants must be dues-paying Delta Gamma alumnae or collegians who are currently enrolled in graduate school or will begin graduate school in the fall.

Ida B. Wells Graduate Student Fellowship

Dissertation Fellowship: To an A.B.D. woman graduate student working on a historical dissertation, not necessarily in a history department. Edward C. Bryant Scholarship Trust Fund Award in Survey Statistics

Each year an outstanding graduate student in Survey Statistics is awarded the Bryant Scholarship to help support the student’s graduate education. Selection criteria include: potential to contribute to survey statistics; applied experience in survey statistics; performance in graduate school.
