Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans

The Soros Fellowship provides a stipend of up to $25,000 for New Americans, defined as permanent residents, naturalized citizens, or the child of two parents of naturalized citizens. Fellowship supports two years of graduate study in any scholarly discipline in the arts, humanities, and sciences.

Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in Pharmaceutics

This post-doctoral award provides $50,000 for up to two years for research in pharmaceutics at a US university. The research proposal should include a formal training plan.

Elva Knight Research Grant

This $5,000 award supports research in reading and literacy. Projects should be completed within 2 years using any method or approach. Development of new programs or instructional materials is not eligible for funding except where necessary for research.

Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in Health Outcomes

The PhRMA Foundation Post Doctoral program in health outcomes provides stipend support for individuals engaged in a research training program that will create or extend their credentials in health outcomes. The award consists of a $55,000 annual stipend for up to 2 years.

Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in Informatics

The PhRMA Foundation Post Doctoral program in Informatics provides stipend support for individuals engaged in a multidisciplinary research training program that will create or extend their credentials in informatics. The stipend is $40,000/year for 2 years.

National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship

National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowships are awarded to applicants who will pursue a doctoral degree in, or closely related to, an area of DoD interest in one of 15 Engineering and Science disciplines. Fellowships are held for three years.

Graduate Research Fellowship

This program supports early-career graduate students in NSF-supported STEM fields. Fellows benefit from a three-year annual stipend of $34,000 along with a $12,000 cost of education allowance.

Abel Wolman Fellowship

This fellowship is designed to support promising doctoral students in the US, Canada and Mexico pursuing advanced training and research in the field of water supply and treatment.

Ruth L. Kirschstein Individual Predoctoral NRSA for MD/PhD and other Dual Degree Fellowships (Parent F30)

The purpose of this fellowship is to provide support for promising dual degree doctoral candidates who will be performing dissertation research and training in scientific health-related fields relevant to the missions of the participating NIH Institutes and Centers (ICs).

Senior Research Training Fellowships

Objective of Senior Research Training Fellowship is to support the training of MDs and/or PhDs seeking further academic training as scientific investigators.
