Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant – Methodology, Measurement, and Statistics

The Methodology, Measurement, and Statistics (MMS) Program is an interdisciplinary program in the Directorate for Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences that supports the development of innovative, analytical, and statistical methods and models for those sciences.

NCI Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Fellow Transition Award (F99/K00)

The NCI Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Fellow Transition (F99/K00) Award supports outstanding Ph.D. and other Research Doctoral candidates complete their dissertation research training (F99 phase) and transition to mentored, cancer-focused postdoctoral career development research positions (K00 phase).

Northeast SARE Graduate Student Grant

Grants support graduate students doing research on topics specific to sustainable agriculture under the supervision of a faculty advisor. Proposals should address issues of current or potential importance to Northeast farmer and farm service professionals.

Origins of Life Postdoctoral Fellowships

This postdoctoral fellowship support independent research on topics related to the origins of life at one or more laboratories or research institutions in any country. Applications from all origins-related disciplines are encouraged.

Bridge to Independence Award

The Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI) seeks to improve the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders by funding innovative research of the highest quality and relevance.

Branco Weiss Fellowship

This fellowship provides a platform for exceptionally qualified researchers, demonstrating a willingness to engage in a dialogue on relevant social, cultural, political or economic issues across the frontiers of their particular discipline.

Damon Runyon Fellowship

The Foundation encourages all theoretical and experimental research relevant to the study of cancer and the search for cancer causes, mechanisms, therapies and prevention. Applicants must be sponsored by a scientist (tenured, tenure-track, or equivalent) who can mentor the fellow.

NIH Blueprint Diversity Specialized Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Advancement in Neuroscience (D-SPAN) Award (F99/K00)

The purpose of the NIH D-SPAN Award is to support a defined pathway across career stages for outstanding graduate students who are from backgrounds that are nationally underrepresented in neuroscience research. The award supports the transition from predoctoral candidate to postdoctoral researcher.

Postdoctoral Enrichment Program

The Postdoctoral Enrichment Program (PDEP) provides a total of $60,000 over three years to support the career development activities for underrepresented minority postdoctoral fellows in a degree-granting institution.

National Service and Civic Engagement Competition

This competition seeks applications that build on existing research in the field, address gaps in knowledge, and provide new ideas and methodological approaches to the study of civic infrastructure, civic engagement, volunteering, national service, and other related concepts such as social capital.
