Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant – Cultural Anthropology

The primary objective of the Cultural Anthropology Program is to support basic scientific research on the causes, consequences, and complexities of human social and cultural variability.

AHQF General Scholarship

The AHQF General Scholarship is open to members of the AHQA or AHQYA. Funding for this scholarship may be applied to either a two or four-year degree program, which includes undergraduate or graduate studies of the student’s choice.

The grant provides funding for research projects by US graduate students that will take place developing countries in collaboration with mentor from IARC/NARS. The goal of the program is to develop the next generation of experts in food security from a variety of academic disciplines.

Linguistics Program – Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Awards

The NSF DDRIG in linguistics provides up to $12,000 in grant funds to improve the quality of dissertation research by doctoral students. These grants allow graduate students to undertake significant data-gathering projects and to conduct field research which would not otherwise be possible.

Director’s Fellowship

NREL Director’s Fellowships are designed to attract the next generation of exceptionally qualified scientists and engineers in renewable energy research and related disciplines. Candidates must be recent PhDs (within two years of completion).

Postdoctoral Researchers and Research Associates

Qualified postdoctoral researchers and research associates have the opportunity to participate in the laboratory’s research and development programs, initiate new areas of research, and establish a base for ongoing collaborations through NREL’s Research Participant Program.

Postdoctoral Fellowships

NJCSCR Postdoctoral Fellowships are intended to attract and retain talented young scientists who wish to pursue a career in spinal cord regeneration and repair research at an NJ institution. Three-year awards of $50,000/year provide a stipend, a research allowance, and a small travel budget.

Chadwick Biodiversity Fellowship

Two-year fellowship for Australian citizens/residents allows a recent PhD (within 2 years of degree) in biological sciences to establish a career in biodiversity research. Fellow will apply for grants, publish articles, and collaborate with senior research scientists at the Australian Museum.
