Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program for Young Professionals

The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals is a full-year work-study program in Germany. No prior German language required, intended primarily for young adults in business, technical, vocational, and agricultural fields, though applicants from all fields are encouraged to apply.

Porter Physiology Fellowships for Minorities

The goal of this fellowship program is to encourage diversity among students pursuing full-time studies toward the Ph.D. in the physiological sciences, and to encourage their participation in APS. Fellows received 1-2 years of fellowship support.

Congressional Science Fellowship

A program that selects a postdoctoral to mid-career microbiologist to spend one year ($65,000 stipend) on the staff of an individual congressman, congressional committee or with some other appropriate organizational unit of Congress.

Research Grants

This program aims to advance the conservation and preservation of orchids in every aspect, and/or advance the scientific study of orchids in every respect including horticulture, as well as to assist in the publication of scholarly and popular scientific literature on orchids.

John V. Krutilla Research Stipend

The grant is intended for young scholars who have been awarded a doctoral degree in the past five years for research related to environmental and resource economics. Special attention will be given to applications that seek to pursue research into one or more of the areas pioneered by John Krutilla.

Naval Research Laboratory (NRL)-Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

Aims to involve creative and highly trained scientists and engineers from academia and industry to scientific and technical areas of interest and relevance to the Navy. The selected participants will work in a unique Navy lab environment, interacting with senior laboratory scientists and engineers.

Maylon Smith Scholarship Research Award

Annually awards of up to $1000 support graduate students in psychology to advance research in the psychology of sexual orientation and gender identity. Applicants must be currently enrolled full-time in a Department of Psychology at the graduate level.

Army Research Laboratory Postdoctorate Fellowship Program through Oak Ridge Associated Universities

An opportunity to conduct postdoctoral research in line with Army Research Laboratory research. Fellowships are awarded for one year and may be renewed with high quality research efforts underway.

Elizabeth Munsterberg Koppitz Child Psychology Graduate Fellowships

The Elizabeth Munsterberg Koppitz Fellowship Program provides fellowships and scholarships for graduate student research in the area of child psychology. Several awards, up to $25,000, are given out each year.

Olivia James Traveling Fellowship

The award is to be used for travel and study in several areas. Although the proposal may require travel outside these areas, the majority of travel proposed must be within them.
