The Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship

The Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship Program is a distinguished transatlantic initiative that each year offers twenty accomplished young Americans the opportunity to complete a high-level professional development program in Germany.

National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship for Research in Turkey

The NEH fellowships support projects in the humanities and humanistically oriented aspects of the social sciences, prehistory, history, art, archaeology, literature, and linguistics, as well as interdisciplinary aspects of cultural history. Stipends up to $50,400 support 4-12 month projects.

Image Permanence Institute Internship in Preservation Research

The purpose of the IPI Internship is to give a student of merit who is committed to the preservation of moving images the opportunity to acquire practical experience in preservation research.

Daland Fellowships in Clinical Investigation

The American Philosophical Society awards a limited number of Daland Fellowships in Clinical Investigation for research in the several branches of clinical medicine, including internal medicine, neurology, pediatrics, psychiatry, and surgery. The committee emphasizes patient-oriented research.

William C. Ezell Fellowships

To encourage talented persons to pursue full-time careers in Optometric research and education, the AOF offers fellowships to post graduate students (primarily optometrists) who are entering or continuing a full-time study that leads to the Masters or Ph.D. degree in vision science.

Byron Hanke Fellowship

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited master’s, doctoral, or law program in the US or Canada. Students of all disciplines are welcome to apply, provided their studies relate to community associations where homeowners support an association and are subject to use and aesthetic restrictions.

Bothmer Fellowship

Awarded to an outstanding graduate student in a US doctoral program and who has submitted an outline of a thesis dealing with either Greek or Roman art. Preference is given to the applicant who will profit most from utilizing the resources of the Department of Greek and Roman Art.

Postdoctoral Fellowship

Each year, the APS offers a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship to support the research of early career scientists. Innovative research projects are supported, with the focus changing each year. The 2014 cycle supports research in advanced materials.

Research Training Fellowships

AOS training fellowships are intended to foster academic training of student and resident physicians in sciences related to ear disorders. Applicants must be medical students or residents.

Marine Policy Fellowship Program

This one-year postdoctoral fellowship in marine policy invites PhDs in the social sciences to apply their training and expertise to economic, legal, and policy issues related to oceans.
