The Douglass Foundation Fellowship in American Art

The Douglass Foundation Fellowship in American Art is awarded to a promising young scholar for one year’s study or research in The American Wing on an aspect of the Met’s collections. Applicants should have been enrolled for at least one year in an advanced degree program in American art or culture.

ERCIM Fellowship Programme

Postdoctoral fellowships are available in information technology and applied mathematics. These grants target young scientists of all nationalities wishing to work on research projects at ERCIM member institutes across Europe. Fellowships are typically of 24 months in duration.

John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship

Applicants must be in a graduate or professional program in a marine or aquatic-related field at a United States University. The program matches graduate students with “hosts” in the legislative and executive branch of government located in the Washington, D.C. area, for a one year paid fellowship.

Thomas H. Smouse Memorial Fellowship

The Fellowship is a stipend of $10,000 for AOCS student members. The second part of the award is $5,000 and shall be given as a research fund to be used by the recipient for travel to professional meetings and for research expenditures related to the student’s graduate program.

ARS Postdoctoral Research Associate (RA) positions provide up to two years of support/employment in specific positions, primarily in life and physical sciences. Available opportunities change continuously.

Guest Graduate Appointments give access to a leading national laboratory facility for basic and applied research in the physical sciences. Award is for visitation privileges only.

Harold Gulliksen Psychometric Research Fellowship

This program aims to increase the number of well-trained scientists in educational assessment, psychometrics and statistics. Selected fellows study at their universities and carry out research under the supervision of an academic mentor and in consultation with an ETS researcher or psychometrician.

John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship

Supported by the National Sea Grant Office, this fellowship targets graduate students who have an interest in ocean, coastal and Great Lake resources, and the national policy affecting decisions affecting those resources

Media Psychology Student Dissertation/Research Award

Dissertation award for projects on internet, radio, TV, or print research/applications; multimedia telecommunications; virtual reality; distance learning; telehealth services; and product development.. The award includes a $200 stipend and one year of free membership in the Division.
