Jane and Morgan Whitney Fellowships

Jane and Morgan Whitney Fellowships are awarded to PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and senior museum professionals for study, work, or research in fine arts fields are related to the Museum’s collections, with preference given to students in the decorative arts under forty years of age.

Theodore Rousseau Fellowships

Theodore Rousseau Fellowships are awarded for the training of students whose goal is to enter museums as curators of painting. Applicants must be enrolled for at least one year in an advanced degree program in the field of art history.

APA Dissertation Research Awards

This award supports science-oriented doctoral students of psychology with research costs. The program funds grants of $1,000 each, along with several larger grants of up to $5,000 to students whose dissertation research reflects excellence in scientific psychology.

Harvard-Newcomen Postdoctoral Fellowship in Business History

Fellowship is awarded for twelve months’ residence, study, and research at Harvard Business School. The fellowship is open to scholars who, within the last ten years, have received a PhD in history, economics, or a related discipline.

Lydia Donaldson Tutt-Jones Research Grant

This grant provides financial support to students and professionals who conduct research to study African American success, particularly in the area of education.

Junior Fellowship

Available to doctoral candidates at U.S. colleges and universities in all fields of study. Junior Research Fellowships are specifically designed to enable doctoral candidates to pursue dissertation research in India for up to 11 months. The deadline to apply is July 1.

Scholarships for post-graduates and researchers in Finnish language

CIMO awards scholarships to non-Finnish post-graduate students and researchers who carry out their research outside Finland. Applicants should have at least a Master’s degree. Scholarships are available for post-graduate studies or research in a Finnish university or for short study visits.

Congressional Research Awards

The Dirksen Congressional Center invites applications for grants to fund research on congressional leadership and the U.S. Congress. The competition is open to individuals with a serious interest in studying Congress. AAV Companion and Wild Bird Health Research Fund

This grant funds projects on exotic and wild birds, including diagnostic tests, drug pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, practice management, and avian conservation. Grants are limited to $5,000 for companion bird health and $10,000 for wild bird health research funds.

American Quarter Horse Association: Rusty and Kay Moody Post-Graduate Scholarship

This fellowship supports members of the AQHA who are pursuing any two-year graduate program. Recipients are selected for academic achievement, financial need, leadership, community service and American Quarter Horse involvement.
