Provides an opportunity for graduate students to work in the office of a NY senator. Each Legislative Fellow is assigned to a specific Senator’s office, where they will function largely as if they were regular staff. Legislative Fellows generally perform in-depth policy research.

Schallek Fellowship
The Schallek Fellowship provides a one-year grant to support Ph.D. dissertation research in any relevant discipline dealing with late-medieval Britain (ca. 1350-1500). Applicants must be members of the Medieval Academy and be ABD at the time of application.
GEM Fellowship Program
This fellowship provides both financial support and internship opportunities to highly qualified, underrepresented students who wish to pursue graduate study in engineering or science.
Executive Fellowship Program
The Executive Fellowship Program is aimed at providing an experiential learning opportunity in California state government. Fellows work full-time in high levels of the Executive branch and meet weekly for graduate seminars.
Nancy B. Forest and L. Michael Honaker Master’s Grant for Research in Psychology
This $1,000 grant supports Master’s thesis field research in psychology. The application requires a three-page thesis proposal and additional materials and applicants must be a member of APAGS to apply.
John Hope Franklin Dissertation Award
Designed to support an outstanding doctoral student who is conducting dissertation research. Fellows are expected to be in residence at the American Philosophical Society Library and therefore all applicants should be pursuing research in which the holding of the library are especially strong.

Judith McManus Price Scholarship
Women and minority students enrolled in an approved planning program and intend to pursue careers as practicing planners in the public sector and are able to demonstrate a genuine financial need are eligible to apply for this scholarship which will range between $2,000 to $4,000.
Air Pollution Educational and Research Grant (APERG)
The goal of this grant is to provide financial support that enables doctoral students and postdoctoral scientists to pursue research on air pollution, air quality, the atmosphere, or another closely related field of study. Applicants must be in the MASS-A&WMA region.
John J. and Anna H. Gallagher Fellowship for the Study of the Rarer Microscopic, Multicellular Invertebrate Animals
This postdoctoral fellowship provides a 36,000 stipend to scholars studying the systematic of microscopic invertebrates. The research focus must be on systematics and may employ ecological, behavioral, physiological, or developmental tools. Note that the competition is anticipated to run in 2015.
