Visiting Scholars Program

The purpose of the Visiting Scholars Program (VSP) is to stimulate and support research conducted by scholars and practitioners who show promise of becoming leaders in their field, especially those who work on multidisciplinary topics. Postdoctoral students receive up to $40,000

Pruitt National Fellowship for Dissertation Research

This fellowship offers up to $12,000 to women doctoral candidates in the United States and Canada. These fellowships support dissertation research in geography and geographical aspects of related fields.

Lizette Peterson Homer Memorial Injury Research Grant

This program supports research into the psychological and behavioral aspects of the prevention of injuries for children and adolescents. Up to $5,000 is given to the student whose research design best reflects this focus.

Alan F. Henry/Paul A. Greebler Scholarship

Full-time graduate students of a North American university engaged in Masters or PhD research in the area of nuclear reactor physics or radiation transport. Students of all nationalities are eligible. All applicants must be sponsored by an ANS organization.

Robert A. Dannels Memorial Scholarship

Financial assistance to disabled or other students who are interested in pursuing graduate studies in nuclear science or engineering. Applications must be sponsored by an ANS organization.

Dissertation Fellowship in American Art

This award assists graduate students who are ABD in any stage of Ph.D. dissertation research or writing. Applicant must be a Ph.D. candidate in a department of art history and the dissertation must be focused on a topic in the history of the visual arts of the US.

Adelle and Erwin Tomash Fellowship in the History of Information Technology

The fellowship will be awarded to a graduate student whose dissertation will address a topic in the history of computing and information processing. The fellowship may be held at the recipient’s home academic institution, the Charles Babbage Institute, or any other location where there are the appropriate research facilities. Through its annual Graduate Awards Program, the AIAA Foundation presents awards to graduate students doing excellent research in the air and space sciences.

John F. Steinman Fellowship

Fellowships may be awarded to qualified persons seeking advanced study in the fields of psychiatry, psychology, or social work. Fellow shall be obligated to practice within Lancaster County, PA for at least as many years as the number of years fellowship support.

Fuel Cycle and Waste Management Division John Randall Scholarship

Graduate students in the areas of science and engineering related to the nuclear fuel cycle and radioactive waste management at accredited institutions in the United States are eligible to apply. Students must be sponsored by an ANS organization.
