Venetian Research Program

The Foundation awards travel grants to individual scholars to support historical research on Venice and the former Venetian empire, and for the study of contemporary Venetian society and culture. Disciplines of the humanities and social sciences are eligible areas of study.

Health and Disability Fellowship

NACCHO has openings for paid fellows to assist and support their Health and Disability project team in their mission to increase public awareness and inclusion of people with disabilities into the workforce.

Leadership Legacy Scholarship for Graduates

Each year, the Leadership Legacy Scholarship will provide a $5,000 award to a young woman pursuing a career in transportation. Eligible candidates are pursuing graduate degrees in transportation or a related field and demonstrate leadership skills and an active commitment to community service.

Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship

This is a full year in-residence fellowship for doctoral researchers and postdoctoral scholars in the environmental humanities who have a primary focus on areas of inquiry that connect nature to the human experience.

Mariam K. Chamberlain Award

This award will support a first generation doctoral student, including immigrant students, as they complete their dissertation writing. The dissertation must support ICRW’s mission to empower women, advance gender equality and fight poverty.

Postdoctoral Training Awards

The Autism Science Foundation invites applications for its Postdoctoral Training Awards from graduate students interested in pursuing careers in basic and clinical research relevant to autism spectrum disorders.

Dissertation Fellowships

This fellowship supports doctoral scholars in the history of science, technology or medicine who would like to use collections at two or more institutions in the Consortium. Fellows are expected to spend the academic year at the Consortium facilities in Philadelphia and to participate in events.

Syngenta Fellowship Award in Human Health Applications of New Technologies

Funding is to support mode-of-action research aimed at characterizing dose-dependent effects of xenobiotics on mammalian systems in such a way that the causal sequence of key events underlying toxicity is elucidated. Additional travel support to attend the SOT annual meeting is provided.

Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholar Awards

This postdoc is open to U.S. scholars who have recently completed, or about to complete their doctoral degree. This award is available in STEM fields, the arts, humanities and social sciences. The grant is an opportunity to acquire new skills and make connections with others in their fields.

The AACR Basic Cancer Research Fellowships

The AACR Basic Cancer Research Fellowships are open to postdoctoral and clinical research fellows working at an academic, medical, or research institution. The research proposed for funding may be in any area of basic cancer research.
