California Strawberry Scholarships

This scholarship supports the children of California strawberry farm workers as they further their educational and career goals through a scholastic or vocational program at an accredited school.

Davis-Putter Scholarships

This award of up to $10,000 support students who have financial need, academic potential, and a strong commitment and history of activism in social or economic justice causes (such as struggles against racism, sexism, homophobia, or for economic justice, anti-imperialist solidarity, etc.).

Hispanic Community Affairs Council Scholarship

These scholarships support Hispanic undergraduate and graduate students and are dedicated to the recognition of Hispanic/Latino culture and the education of Hispanic/Latino students.

Oliver Goldsmith M.D. Scholarships

This scholarship provides $5,000, a clerkship and mentoring to third or fourth year medical students who are interested in culturally/linguistically responsive care and who intend to practice medicine in Southern California.

eQuality Scholarship Collaborative Scholarships

This award honors and encourages California students for their service to the lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender community. Scholarships may be used for post-secondary education, and some are for nursing or medical school. Applicants must be California residents and/or attend school in California.

Nell I. Mondy Fellowship

For the Nell I. Mondy Fellowships, awards are for research in the same areas as for the other SDE Fellowships, with preference given to applications in the areas of food science, nutrition, and toxicology. The winner of the Nell I. Mondy Fellowship must be a member of SDE/GWIS.

Visiting Graduate Fellowship

This $25,000 fellowship offers a philosophy graduate student from another institution who has serious research interests in the philosophy of religion to be a visiting scholar at the Center.

Alfred M. Landon Research Grant

The Alfred M. Landon Historical Research Grant is presented annually to graduate students for research in the collections of the Kansas Historical Society. The total amount available is $1,000.

James F. Schumar Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to full-time graduate students in a program leading to an advanced degree in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear-related field. All applicants must be sponsored by an ANS organization.

Saul Levine Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is given to graduate students pursuing a career in nuclear science or engineering. Applicants must be sponsored by an ANS organization.
