School Advanced Fellowships

Several fellowships for the full academic year at the School are available to students who have completed the Regular Program or one year as a Student Associate Member and plan to return to the School to pursue independent research, usually for their Ph.D. dissertation.

ASWA Masters Scholarship

ASWA offers Masters Degree Scholarships to support the costs of attending a masters program towards an accounting or finance degree.

Fellowships in Science and International Affairs

The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs offers research fellowships during the academic year in science and international affairs. Fellowship programs include: 1) International Security, 2) Science, Technology, and Public Policy, and 3) Environment and Natural Resources

Dibner History of Science Program Long-Term Awards

The Dibner HIstory of Science program offers long- and short-term fellowships which are designed to further study in the Burndy Library and the other history of science and technology resources at The Huntington. Eligibility: PhD or equivalent by specified date. See website for details. Tenure of fellowship: Nine to twelve months

Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship

The ETA places Fulbrighters in classrooms abroad to provide assistance to the local English teachers. ETAs help teach English language (in classrooms ranging from K through university) while serving as cultural ambassadors for the U.S. Applicants can apply to only one country.

Fellows-in-Residency

Fellows-in-Residency program will bring together Fellows to work closely over the course of the year on pressing issues in ethics. Post-doctoral fellows will be paid according to a salary structure that is based on number of years of postdoctoral experience ranging from $42,000 to $53,000.

Postdoctoral Fellowship

Postdoctoral Fellowships of three to twelve months are available for scholars who have held the doctoral degree or equivalent for fewer than seven years as of the application deadline.

Research Starter Grant in Health Outcomes

The PhRMA Foundation Research Starter Grants offers $60,000 for one year of financial support to individuals beginning their research careers at the faculty level. It is intended for individuals beginning independent research careers in academia without other sources of research funding.

Jane B. Aron Doctoral Fellowship

Awarded to a social work doctoral candidate whose dissertation focuses on health policy and practice. Dissertations that include a diversity component are encouraged.

Postdoctoral Fellows Program

Post-Doctoral Fellows, who must have the Ph.D. before the submission of their applications, are awarded to those who have held the Ph.D. for no more than six years before receiving the fellowship.
