Katz Center Fellowships

The fellowship program invites roughly twenty scholars each year to conduct research on a specific theme within the various fields of Judaic studies. During the course of the year the fellows work on their individual projects. Fellowships granted may be for one semester or the full academic year.

Graduate Research Fellowship Program in the Social and Behavioral Sciences

The GRF in the Social and Behavioral Sciences track is open to doctoral students in all social and behavioral science disciplines. The fellowship awards provide support for 12 months to accredited universities for research on crime, violence and other criminal justice-related topics.

CISAC Pre/Postdoctoral Fellowships

CISAC trains the next generation of security specialists. Fellows spend the academic year engaged in research and writing, interact and collaborate with leading faculty and researchers.

Elva Knight Research Grant

This $5,000 award supports research in reading and literacy. Projects should be completed within 2 years using any method or approach. Development of new programs or instructional materials is not eligible for funding except where necessary for research.

Abel Wolman Fellowship

This fellowship is designed to support promising doctoral students in the US, Canada and Mexico pursuing advanced training and research in the field of water supply and treatment.

Academic Achievement Award

This award encourages academic excellence by recognizing contributions to the field of public water supply. All Masters theses and doctoral dissertations that are relevant to the water supply industry are eligible. First place is for $3000 and second is $1500.

Dissertation Fellowships for Republic of China (Taiwan) Students Abroad

This $18,000 award supports the Republic of China (ROC-Taiwan) citizens who are completing their PhDs in the US. The research must be in the humanities and social sciences on a topic related to Chinese culture and society, the development of the Republic of China, or Taiwan Studies.

Roothbert Scholarships

This scholarship offers support to help men and women in need of financial aid to further their education. The Fund seeks candidates who are “motivated by spiritual values,” and works to foster fellowship among them. Awards range from $2,000 to 3,000. Awards can be renewed based on review.
