Chateaubriand Scholarship Program in the Humanities and Social Sciences

This award supports outstanding Ph.D. students from American universities who seek to engage in research in France, in any discipline of the Humanities and Social Sciences. Research can be conducted over a period of 4-8 months. The monthly stipend is €1,500.

Fellowships for Graduate Study or Research in Belgium

This fellowship supports advanced study or research in Belgium for 6 to 12 months. Applicants must either have a master’s or equivalent degree, or be working towards a PhD in the US. Applicants should make their own arrangements to affiliate with a Belgian University or research institution.

New York State Senate Graduate/Post-Graduate/Mid-Career Fellowships

Fellowships are open to all majors. Students are not required to presently reside in New York State or attend school in New York State. All Senate fellowships are on-site in Albany, New York. Pierre and Patricia Bikai Fellowship

Field Research Grant for 1 or 2 months of residency at ACOR for non-Jordanian graduate students participating in an archaeological or research project in Jordan. It includes room and board and a monthly stipend of $600. It may be combined with the Groot or Harrell fellowships.

Scholarships

Scholarship awards range from $2,000-$12,000 and are awarded to undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate, medical, dental, and legal students.

Graduate Student Fellowships for Alternatives to the Use of Animals in Science

The fellowships provide assistance to graduate students whose programs of study seem likely to have impact on the development and implementation of scientifically valid alternatives to the use of animals in research, product testing, and education.

Peace Scholarship Dissertation Fellowships

Peace Scholar Dissertation Fellowships support students enrolled in U.S. universities who are researching and writing doctoral dissertations on topics related to peace, conflict and international security. Proposals from all disciplines are welcome. The stipend is $20,000 for an academic year.

SAE-CES Pre-Dissertation Fellowship

This $5,000 fellowship is intended to fund a student’s first major research project in Europe. The Fellowship Committee does not set specific parameters regarding period or discipline. Applicants of all disciplines pursuing research relevant to European Studies are encouraged to apply.

Student Research Grant in Early Childhood Language

Graduate or postgraduate students in communication sciences and disorders desiring to conduct research in early childhood language development are eligible to compete for a $2,000 grant for a proposed 1-year study. Contact funder for updated deadline.

Student Support Scholarship

PLT Student Support Scholarships are awarded to assist students with tuition and books and are available to both part-time and full-time students dedicated to pursuing careers in education. The award amount is determined annually, and currently is $2,000.
