Modest short-term awards for research in ornithology are available to advanced graduate students (and occasionally to post-graduate researchers) for expenses associated with their research. Priority is given to research investigating evolutionary ornithological science.

EWNJ Graduate Merit Award
This scholarship offers up to $5,000 for permanent NJ resident women who are non-traditional students attending graduate school in NJ. Applicants must have completed at least 12 credits, be currently carrying at least 6 credits, or be considered full time if in the dissertation phase.
Fulbright Study/Research (Full) Grants
The program provides support to conduct research and study in a foreign country for an academic year. Applicants must be US citizens. Students in the School of Graduate Studies and New Brunswick graduate students should contact Assistant Dean Teresa Delcorso-Ellmann to initiate an application.
