Eloise Gerry Fellowships

These awards support female scientists conducting research in the natural sciences at the doctoral or postdoctoral level. The funds can be used for research supplies and travel to a research site. Up to $10,000 can be requested as part of the application.

Vessa Notchev Fellowships

This award supports research in all the natural sciences, including physical, environmental, mathematical, computer, life sciences, anthropology, psychology and statistics. A maximum of $10,000 can be requested.

Mass Media Science and Engineering Fellows Program

This program provides a 10 week summer experience working in a media outlet, in order to increase communication between scientists and journalists. The award includes travel expenses as well as a weekly stipend for the fellowship tenure.

Josephine de Karman Fellowships

These fellowships are awarded to recognize and assist students from any academic discipline whose academic achievements are of the highest standard. PhD applicants may apply for support for their final year of doctoral studies.

Philip M. Smith Graduate Research Grant for Cave and Karst Research

Awawrded for research on issues related to caves and karst. For qualified students in natural and social sciences

Scholarship Program

American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) Scholarship Program provides support to naval engineers seeking advanced education in the field. The scholarship award amount is $4,000 for graduate students.

Engineering Scholarships

Scholarships are for undergraduates and graduates pursuing engineering careers in the vertical flight industry. Relevant fields include structural, aerodynamic, or aerospace engineering. Scholarships are merit-based.

Robert E. Altenhofen Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to undergraduate or graduate student members of ASPRS To encourage and commend college students who display exceptional interest and ability in the theoretical aspects of photogrammetry with cash prize of $2,000 and a certificate.

Grants-in-Aid Program

The Grants-in-Aid Program includes special grants named in recognition of individuals and institutions who have made substantial contributions to the foundation; petroleum; and energy mineral-sciences, teaching, or research. Harvard-Smithsonian Center Astrophysics Postdoctoral Fellowships

Recent Ph.D. recipients in atomic and molecular physics, geophysics, the solar system, astronomy, astrophysics or cosmology, with interests in theory, observation, instrumentation and/or laboratory research are invited to apply for the CfA Postdoctoral Fellowship.
