Graduate Student Fellows Program

This award supports Hispanic and/or Latina/o doctoral students who aspire to work as professors or administrators in higher education and who demonstrate academic potential. The award includes conference registration, hotel, and travel funding.

Davis-Putter Scholarships

This award of up to $10,000 support students who have financial need, academic potential, and a strong commitment and history of activism in social or economic justice causes (such as struggles against racism, sexism, homophobia, or for economic justice, anti-imperialist solidarity, etc.).

PEO International Peace Scholarship

This $12,500 award provides scholarships for international women for graduate study in the US and Canada. The applicant must have a full year of coursework remaining and be enrolled and in residence for the entire school year, and is required to return to her home country upon completion of degree.

Dissertation Fellowship

This $10,000 fellowship supports students in the dissertation writing stage of doctoral study. Awards are for 12 months of dissertation writing. All pre-dissertation requirements should be met by the application deadline, including approval of the dissertation proposal.

NPSC Fellowship

NPSC’s goal is to increase the number of American citizens with graduate degrees in the physical sciences and related engineering fields, emphasizing recruitment of a diverse applicant pool.

NCI Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Fellow Transition Award (F99/K00)

The NCI Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Fellow Transition (F99/K00) Award supports outstanding Ph.D. and other Research Doctoral candidates complete their dissertation research training (F99 phase) and transition to mentored, cancer-focused postdoctoral career development research positions (K00 phase).

Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarships-Doctoral Program and NSERC Postgraduate Scholarships-Doctoral Program

The Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarships-Doctoral Program (CGS D) and NSERC Postgraduate Scholarships-Doctoral Program (PGS D) provide financial support to scholars who are engaged in a doctoral program in the natural sciences or engineering.

German Chancellor Fellowships for Tomorow’s Leaders

This one-year, residential award supports prospective leaders from Brazil, China, India, Russia or the US who have completed their first degree (bachelor’s or comparable degree), have subsequently gained work experience, and have already shown outstanding leadership potential in their career.

STEM Teachers Scholarships

The AFCEA Educational Foundation offers scholarships of $2,500 to $5,000 to students actively pursuing an undergraduate degree, graduate degree or credential/licensure for the purpose of teaching STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) subjects at a U.S. middle or secondary school.

Dissertation Grant Program

The Microsoft Research Dissertation Grant aims to increase the pipeline of diverse talent receiving advanced degrees in computing-related fields by providing a research funding opportunity for doctoral students from groups under-represented in computing.
