S.V. Ciriacy-Wantrup Postdoctoral Fellowships in Natural Resource Economics

The S.V. Ciriacy-Wantrup Postdoctoral Fellowships in Natural Resource Economics and Political Economy support postdoctoral and faculty research at the University of California, Berkeley. Applicants whose research is policy-oriented are especially encouraged to apply.

Jessup and McHenry Awards

Jessup funds are awarded competitively to students wishing to conduct studies at the postgraduate, doctoral and postdoctoral levels under the supervision or sponsorship of a member of the curatorial staff of the Academy. The McHenry Fund is similarly intended, but is restricted to botanists.

Arthur S. Tuttle Memorial National Scholarship

The Arthur S. Tuttle Memorial Scholarship is a $2,000 award for a Civil Engineering Master’s student at an accredited institution. Applicants must be a member of the society in good standing.

Scholarships

Applicants: Must be of Armenian descent; Must be enrolled as a full-time student; Must be a U.S. citizen OR must possess appropriate Visa status in order to study in the US. A non-refundable application processing fee of $15 is to be submitted with the application form.

Electrochemical Society Summer Fellowships

The award, in the form of a fellowship, is given to assist a student during the summer months (June-September) in the pursuit of work in a field of interest to The Electrochemical Society. The award will consist of a check for $5,000 for the summer months of study.

Schlanger Ocean Drilling Fellowship Program

The Schlanger Ocean Drilling Fellowship Program offers merit-based awards for outstanding graduate students to conduct research related to the Integrated Ocean Drilling Program. The $28,000 per year award is to be used for stipend, tuition, benefits, research costs, and travel. Research may be directed toward the objectives of specific expeditions or may address broader themes.

MSA Grant for Student Research in Mineralogy and Petrology

Grants for research in mineralogy and petrology from a fund created by contributions from MSA members. Students, including graduate and undergraduate students, are encouraged to apply. **This is a duplicate record. See the other active record**
