National Academy of Education/Spencer Postdoctoral Fellowship

Fellows receive $70,000 for one academic year of research, or $35,000 for each of two contiguous years working half-time, and are included in professional development retreats with other fellows and NAEd members.

Dissertation Fellowships for Research Related to Education

Postdoctoral Summer Travel-Research Grants

Grants provide airfare for a minimum of four weeks of summer research in Turkey by scholars with Ph.D.s granted in the five years prior to the application deadline in humanities and social science fields.

Lady Davis Postdoctoral Fellowships at Hebrew University

9-12 month postdoctoral fellowships promote exchange of ideas and information and cement relationships for ongoing academic exchange. Candidates must contact the relevant Faculty or Department at the Hebrew University, and ensure that there is a Faculty member willing to sponsor the application.

Lady Davis Postdoctoral Fellowships at Technion, Israel

Fellowships are granted for one year with the possibility of prolongation for an additional year. The starting date of the visit should not be later than three years after receipt of the Doctoral Degree. Visit website for application information.

Smithsonian Institution Fellowship Program: Postdoctoral Fellowships

Postdoctoral Fellowships of 3-12 months are available for scholars who have held the doctoral degree or equivalent for fewer than seven years as of the application deadline. Fellowships provide opportunities to pursue independent research projects in association with Smithsonian research staff.
