This in-residence fellowship offers 2-6 months of support for MA or pre-doctoral students conducting research in Jordan. Research can be conducted in any field and on any time period, but should contribute to scholarship in Near Eastern studies.

Jennifer C. Groot Fellowship
Field Research Grant: to support beginners in archaeological fieldwork who have been accepted as staff members on archaeological projects with ASOR/CAP affiliation in Jordan. Open to undergraduate and graduate students. U.S. or Canadian citizenship required.
Pierre and Patricia Bikai Fellowship
Field Research Grant for 1 or 2 months of residency at ACOR for non-Jordanian graduate students participating in an archaeological or research project in Jordan. It includes room and board and a monthly stipend of $600. It may be combined with the Groot or Harrell fellowships.
Graduate Student Scholarship
The American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation invites full-time students enrolled in a graduate program in communication sciences and disorders to submit applications in competition for graduate scholarships, $5,000 each.
Student Support Scholarship
PLT Student Support Scholarships are awarded to assist students with tuition and books and are available to both part-time and full-time students dedicated to pursuing careers in education. The award amount is determined annually, and currently is $2,000.
Mary McEwen Schimke Scholarship
A supplemental award to provide relief from household and child care expenses while pursuing graduate study. The award is made on the basis of scholarly expectation and identified need. The candidate must be over 30 years of age, currently engaged in graduate study in literature and/or history. Preference given to American studies.
Classical Summer School
6-week program provides graduate students, mature undergraduates, and middle school, high school, and two-year college teachers with an understanding of the growth and development of the city of Rome by examining material remains and literary sources. Tuition scholarships are open to all applicants.
Graduate Student Fellowships for Alternatives to the Use of Animals in Science
The fellowships provide assistance to graduate students whose programs of study seem likely to have impact on the development and implementation of scientifically valid alternatives to the use of animals in research, product testing, and education.

Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans
The Soros Fellowship provides a stipend of up to $25,000 for New Americans, defined as permanent residents, naturalized citizens, or the child of two parents of naturalized citizens. Fellowship supports two years of graduate study in any scholarly discipline in the arts, humanities, and sciences.
