Henry Salvatori Fellowship

The ISI Salvatori Fellowship provides $10,000 to each awardee for graduate work related to the American Founding. Two of these graduate fellowships are awarded annually. Scholarships

Applicants: Must be of Armenian descent; Must be enrolled as a full-time student; Must be a U.S. citizen OR must possess appropriate Visa status in order to study in the US. A non-refundable application processing fee of $15 is to be submitted with the application form.

A.T. Anderson Memorial Scholarship

designed to help talented American Indian students majoring in (1) math, (2) physical science, (3) engineering, (4) medicine, (5) science, or (6) natural resources.

Carl A. Scott Book Scholarships

The awards will be made to students from ethnic groups of color (African American, American Indian, Asian American, Mexican American, and Puerto Rican) who are in their last year of study for a social work degree in a baccalaureate or master’s degree program accredited by CSWE. Blakemore Freeman Fellowships for Advanced Asian Language Study

Fellowships are awarded for one academic year of full-time advanced level language study in East or Southeast Asia in approved language programs. Applicants must be pursuing careers using of one of the eight approved modern East/Southeast Asian languages and be at or near advanced language level.

Master’s Thesis Fellowships

Full support of a single $500 award is available for a one-week fellowship period to encourage use of our research collections by M.A. students developing and researching thesis topics. Partial support is available for students residing in Kentucky who travel from beyond the greater Louisville area.

SDE Fellowships

SDE fellowships support women holding a degree from a recognized institution of higher learning, of outstanding ability and promise in research, who are performing hypothesis-driven research at any institution in the U.S. or abroad. A maximum of $10,000 may be requested.

Eloise Gerry Fellowships

These awards support female scientists conducting research in the natural sciences at the doctoral or postdoctoral level. The funds can be used for research supplies and travel to a research site. Up to $10,000 can be requested as part of the application.

Vessa Notchev Fellowships

This award supports research in all the natural sciences, including physical, environmental, mathematical, computer, life sciences, anthropology, psychology and statistics. A maximum of $10,000 can be requested.

Mass Media Science and Engineering Fellows Program

This program provides a 10 week summer experience working in a media outlet, in order to increase communication between scientists and journalists. The award includes travel expenses as well as a weekly stipend for the fellowship tenure.
