Tuition Scholarship Program

These scholarships support American students of Polish descent for graduate studies at colleges and universities in the United States. Scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $7,000 are awarded on a competitive basis for one academic year. Funding is for full-time studies.

APA Student Travel Award

Students will receive $300 to support their travel to the APA Convention. Applicants who are both members of the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS) and first authors are eligible to have their convention registration fees waived.

International Fellowships

International Fellowships award for full-time study or research to women who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Fellowships support graduate or postgraduate studies at accredited institutions. Recipients are selected for academic achievement and commitment to women and girls.

Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr. Research Fellowships

Preference in this fellowship is given to applicants specializing in Latin American or Western Hemisphere history or policy studies during the Kennedy Administration or the period from the Roosevelt through the Kennedy presidencies. Graduate Student Fellowships for Alternatives to the Use of Animals in Science

The fellowships provide assistance to graduate students whose programs of study seem likely to have impact on the development and implementation of scientifically valid alternatives to the use of animals in research, product testing, and education.

Scholarships

Scholarship awards range from $2,000-$12,000 and are awarded to undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate, medical, dental, and legal students.

Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans

The Soros Fellowship provides a stipend of up to $25,000 for New Americans, defined as permanent residents, naturalized citizens, or the child of two parents of naturalized citizens. Fellowship supports two years of graduate study in any scholarly discipline in the arts, humanities, and sciences.

Graduate Student Scholarship

The American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation invites full-time students enrolled in a graduate program in communication sciences and disorders to submit applications in competition for graduate scholarships, $5,000 each.

Student Research Grants

Note: there are two deadlines, February 1 and June 1. Each year The Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS) awards three grants of $1,000 each to students who are doing sexuality research. This fund provides support to outstanding students doing applied research in the drinking water field. It is offered to doctoral students in even years and Masters students in odd years.
