NWSA Graduate Scholarship Award

NWSA will award $1,000 to a student who, in the fall of the year of the award, will be engaged in the research or writing stages of a Master’s Thesis or Ph.D. on women. Dissertation in the interdisciplinary field of women’s studies. Applicants must be members of NWSA.

Phi Kappa Phi Fellowship

Phi Kappa Phi awards fifty-one Fellowships of $5,000 each and six at $15,000 each to members entering the first year of graduate or professional study. Applicants must be members of the honor society, and nominated through their local chapter.

David Baumgardt Memorial Fellowship

Fellowship provides financial assistance to Ph.D. candidates and postdocs whose research requires extensive use of the LBI New York facilities on the writings of David Baumgardt or his scholarly interests (Ethics, Wissenschaft des Judentums, Modern Intellectual History of German-speaking Jewry).

Garden Club of America Fellowship in Ecological Restoration

This grant supports the study of and research in ecological restoration, and aims to advance knowledge and increase the numbers of scientists in this field. Preference will be given to projects that include field research conducted in the United States.

GCA Summer Scholarship in Field Botany

The GCA Summer Scholarship in Field Botany provides $2,000 for undergraduates and master’s students to gain additional knowledge and experience through summer field study in botany. The field program may be in North, Central, or South America, with preference given to programs located in the U.S.

Ruth Lilly Archives Research Award

The competitive program awards grants up to $4,000 in any discipline for research that requires use of the collections of the Philanthropy Archives Collection of the University Library at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).

Lemmermann Foundation Scholarship Awards

Travel Research Grant: For university students, who need to study in Rome to carry out research and prepare their theses concerning Rome and the Roman culture from the Pre-Roman period to the present day time in the classical studies. Eisenhower Graduate Transportation Fellowships

This fellowship enables students to pursue master’s degrees or doctorates in transportation-related fields at an accredited U.S. Institution of Higher Education. The monthly stipend is $1,700 for master’s and $2,000 for doctoral students.

Harrell Family Fellowship

Field Research Grant: to support a graduate student for participation in an ACOR-approved archaeological research project, which has passed an academic review process. Senior project staff whose expenses are being borne largely by the project are ineligible. Open to enrolled graduate students of any nationality.

NWSA Women of Color Caucus-Frontiers Student Essay Award

The purpose of the Women of Color Caucus-Frontiers Student Essay Award is to promote the intellectual development of emerging women scholars who engage in critical theoretical discussions and/or analyses about feminist/womanist issues concerning women of color in the US and the diaspora.
