Schallek Fellowship

The Schallek Fellowship provides a one-year grant to support Ph.D. dissertation research in any relevant discipline dealing with late-medieval Britain (ca. 1350-1500). Applicants must be members of the Medieval Academy and be ABD at the time of application.

California Senate Fellows Program

The program’s primary goals include providing exposure to the legislative process for participants and offering research and administrative staff assistance for Senate members and policy committees. Applicants with a strong interest in public policy and politics are encouraged to apply.

Executive Fellowship Program

The Executive Fellowship Program is aimed at providing an experiential learning opportunity in California state government. Fellows work full-time in high levels of the Executive branch and meet weekly for graduate seminars.

BMI Student Composer Awards for Classical Composers

These awards are given for compositions – instrumental, vocal, or electronic (or any combination thereof) – submitted by students actively engaged in the study of music. Applicants must be citizens of countries in the Western Hemisphere, currently studying music, and under the age of 28.

ALA Scholarships for Library Support Staff: Tom and Roberta Drewes Scholarship

The Tom and Roberta Drewes Scholarship supports library staff members pursuing an ALA accredited Master’s Program.

ALA Scholarships for Library Support Staff: Miriam L. Hornback Scholarship

The Miriam L. Hornback Scholarship supports staff currently working in a library during his/her ALA accredited MA Program.

Alfa Fellowship Program

Distinguished professional development program placing accomplished young professionals in work assignments in Russia in business, economics, journalism, law, and public policy. program includes intensive Russian language training, seminar programs, and extended professional experience.

Moreau Academic Diversity Postdoctoral Fellowships

Fellowship Program is a one or two-year postdoctoral research, teaching, and mentoring experience. Candidates from any discipline must meet one or more of three criteria related to diversity in research and teaching.

ALSC Scholarships: Frederic G. Melcher Scholarship

The Frederic G. Melcher Scholarship supports students who intend to pursue an MLS degree and who plan to work in the area of library service to children. This work may be serving children up to and including the age of 14 in any type library.

IBM PhD Fellowship Program

This fellowship awards a two-year stipend. Fellows are matched with an IBM Mentor according to their technical interest and are encouraged to participated in an internship at IBM.
