SOPHE 21st Century Scholarships

These scholarships support full-time graduate or undergraduate students who wish to attend the Society for Public Health Education Annual Meeting. Students must be sponsored by a faculty member in the student’s program.

James F. Schumar Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to full-time graduate students in a program leading to an advanced degree in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear-related field. All applicants must be sponsored by an ANS organization.

Dr. Alma S. Adams Scholarship for Outreach and Health Communications to Reduce Tobacco Use Among Priority Populations

These awards support undergraduate or graduate students pursuing study in public health, communications, or social work.

CENIE “JOMO” WILLIAMS TUITION SCHOLARSHIP

Up to 2 scholarships of $2500 awarded per year. All levels of study. Refer to funder website for further details.

SELENA DANETTE BROWN BOOK SCHOLARSHIP

4 Awards up to $250.00. See funder website for more details.

Vercille Voss Graduate Student Scholarship

$2,000 scholarship for graduate students studying interior design or a related field.

Ruth Clark Furniture Design Scholarship

This scholarship offers $3,000 for interior design students focusing on residential furniture design.

Leadership Legacy Scholarship for Graduates

Each year, the Leadership Legacy Scholarship will provide a $5,000 award to a young woman pursuing a career in transportation. Eligible candidates are pursuing graduate degrees in transportation or a related field and demonstrate leadership skills and an active commitment to community service.

Gary Yoshimura Scholarship

This scholarship helps students needing financial assistance to complete their public relations education. The scholarship check will be payable to the winner’s university for use on his or her behalf, and can only be used to directly fund the winner’s educational pursuits.

Daniel J. Edelman/PRSSA Award for the Outstanding Public Relations Student

Open to all PRSSA members, the Daniel J. Edelman/PRSSA Award recognizes members who have demonstrated exceptional leadership ability, a commitment to a career in the field and have contributed substantially to PRSSA.
