ALA General Scholarships: David H. Clift Scholarship

The David H. Clift Scholarship supports academic excellence, leadership and commitment to a career in librarianship.

ALA General Scholarships: Christopher Hoy/ERT Scholarship

The Christopher Hoy/ERT Scholarship support academic excellence, leadership and commitment to careers in librarianship.

E.J. Josey Scholarship Award

This scholarship offers $2,000 to African American students enrolled in or accepted by ALA accredited graduate program leading to a degree in library and information science at the time of application. Applicants must be US or Canadian citizens.

Fitzgerald Fellowships

Fellowships for undergraduate and graduate students who are members of Delta Epsilon Sigma. The awards will be made available on a competitive basis to students who have been initiated into the society and who have also been nominated by their chapters for the competition.

Founders’ Anniversary Fund Graduate Scholarships

These scholarships are open to members of the sorority who are entering or already engaged in graduate study. Applicants for one (the Durning Sisters’ Scholarship) of the scholarships must have completed at least 12 graduate credits and be currently unmarried.

New Century Scholars Doctoral Scholarship

The American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation (ASHF) invites students accepted or enrolled in a research doctoral program who will pursue a teacher-investigator career in the academic environment, university/college level to submit applications in competition for $10,000 scholarship awards.

Scholarships

The APS Scholarships are open to students who have been accepted or enrolled in a graduate school in the United States. Selection is based on financial need, scholastic achievements, faculty recommendations, and involvement in the Armenian Community.

NJLA Members’ Scholarships

Financial assistance to New Jersey residents who are interested in pursuing a graduate or postgraduate degree in librarianship.

The Lionel C. Barrow Jr. Award, Doctoral Minority Student

The scholarship assists a minority student enrolled in a doctoral program in journalism or mass communication. See funder website for details. 


Merit Scholarships

Awarded to full-time, currently enrolled students, with sophomore through Graduate School standing at an accredited campus-based degree-granting institution. Graduate students must plan to continue their academic pursuits in the fall of the grant year. Applicants must demonstrate a B average, and community service and involvement.
