Mary V. Gaver Scholarship

Annual scholarship to a U.S./Canadian citizen or permanent resident who is pursuing an MLS specializing youth services in an ALA-accredited program. Established honoring the memory of a past ALA president and Rutgers University professor who made contributions in library youth services.

Gates Cambridge Scholarship

Scholarships are awarded to outstanding applicants from countries outside the UK to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge. Applicants apply on a single form for admission to a course and a College and for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship.

Joyce Cunningham Scholarship

Students must be enrolled in college or university as a full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate student. Applicants must be a resident of New Jersey, but they can be enrolled in an out-of-state school. They must be a son/daughter, nephew/niece, or grandchild of a NJ ASSE Chapter member.

PEO Scholar Awards

The goal of the award is to encourage and support women’s academic achievements. Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of US and Canada, and expect to finish their degree within two years of nomination.

David A. Winston Health Policy Scholarship

The DAVID A. WINSTON HEALTH POLICY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM offers ten $10,000 scholarships to students who demonstrate their potential to succeed in health policy at the state or federal level upon graduation from their master’s health administration and/or health policy degree program.

Harold Lancour Scholarship for Foreign Study

This scholarship is awarded to Librarians or Library & Information Studies students to survey foreign libraries or programs, attend a foreign library school, and/or to conduct research in a foreign country. Education for Sustainable Energy Development Scholarship

The purpose of the ESED scholarship is to support outstanding students pursuing advanced studies in sustainable energy development and to encourage meaningful contributions to the collective body of knowledge about this subject.

Fellowships for Doctoral Dissertation Research in Chinese Studies

$6,000 scholarship awarded on the basis of achievement without regard to academic discipline, race, or nationality. Applicants must be doctoral candidates in humanities or the social sciences with an approved dissertation prospectus, enrolled in university study in the U.S. or Canada.

Graduate Fellowships

The Graduate Fellowship Fund (GFF) is used to provide financial assistance to deaf graduates of Gallaudet University and other accredited colleges and universities in pursuit of graduate study at colleges and universities for people who hear normally.
