Travel Awards for Annual Experimental Biology Meeting
All travel awards consist of reimbursement for registration at the pre-registration rate plus a sum of $600 to partially defray the costs of travel and housing. Upon completion of the conference, recipients will receive an additional $400 to defray travel costs.

Student Travel Grants
The American Society for Horticultural Science awards a limited number of travel grants of $500 each to domestic graduate and undergraduate students attending the ASHS Annual Conference. In addition, a limited number of grants of $750 will be available to international students.
Student and Postdoctoral Travel Award
Travel awards provide support to travel to the ASM Microbe conference. Awardees are selected by the Travel Award Committee on the basis of the scientific quality of the submitted abstracts. Applications must be submitted before abstract acceptance.

To encourage talented persons to pursue full-time careers in optometry, the American Optometric Foundation (AOF) is now accepting proposals for research grants sponsored by Vistakon. The grants will fund basic or clinical research in the area of soft disposable contact lenses.
AAV Companion and Wild Bird Health Research Fund
This grant funds projects on exotic and wild birds, including diagnostic tests, drug pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, practice management, and avian conservation. Grants are limited to $5,000 for companion bird health and $10,000 for wild bird health research funds.
