PEO Continuing Education Program

This grant (up to $3,000) is for female non-traditional students from the US and Canada who have had a period of at least 24 consecutive moths as a non-student. The grant covers tuition, books, and other related expenses and the applicant must be nominated by a local PEO chapter.

Research Grants Program

To encourage the study and better understanding of early American industries in the home, in the shop, on the farm, and on the sea; also to discover, identify, classify, preserve and exhibit obsolete tools, implements, and mechanical devices which were used in early America.

DEED Research Student Grants/Internships

Each year up to ten $4,000 student research grants and internships are awarded to students conducting research on an energy-related project. Students must be sponsored by a DEED member utility and are required to write an abstract and final report at the completion of the project.

Pruitt National Fellowship for Dissertation Research

This fellowship offers up to $12,000 to women doctoral candidates in the United States and Canada. These fellowships support dissertation research in geography and geographical aspects of related fields.

Freeman Fellowship

Grants are made toward expenses for experiments, observations, and compilations to discover new and accurate data that will be useful in engineering. Stipend will be awarded based on funds available and may be awarded to one or more recipients. Past awards have been in the $2,000 – $5,000 range.
