Henry Belin du Pont Research Grants

Research grants are awarded for the length of time needed to make use of Hagley collections for a specific project. The stipends are for a maximum of eight weeks and are pro-rated at $400/week for recipients who reside more than 50 miles from Hagley, and $200/week for those within 50 miles.

Hal Rothman Research Fellowship

The Hal Rothman Research Fellowship recognizes graduate student achievement in environmental history research. The fellowship provides $1,000 for PhD graduate student research and travel in the field of environmental history, without geographical restriction.

Newberry Library – American Musicological Society (AMS) Fellowship

This fellowship for PhD candidates or postdoctoral scholars supports one month’s work in residence at the Newberry. Preference will be given to a scholar working in music or musicology. Applicants must be members of the AMS at the time of application and through the period of the fellowship.

LBI/DAAD Fellowship

Fellowships are awarded for research in New York or Germany on the social, communal, and intellectual history of German-speaking Jewry. Financial assistance is provided to doctoral students for dissertation research and to young academics for the preparation of a scholarly essay or book.

McGill-ASECS Fellowship

Legacy Research Fellowships

These awards support researchers engaged in Minnesota-related research that draws on the Gale Family Library resources and adds to the body of knowledge and interpretation of Minnesota’s history. Fellows will work at the Gale Family Library and interact with MNHS staff.

Weiner Fellowship

The Florida Atlantic University Libraries and the Huntington Library are jointly offering three short-term research fellowships for advanced graduate students. Fellows will spend one month in residency at FAU and another month in residency at the Huntington Library.
